C4 Skins drama is a dirty Shane

EX-EastEnder Shane Richie is set for trouble in his next role – as a pervy teacher in Channel 4 drama Skins.


Shane — cheeky chappy Alfie Moon in the soap — plays a trendy college professor teaching 18 to 20-year-olds who ends up getting too close to his students.

And producers are planning to have his character BED one of the youngsters.

An insider said: “Shane is a big fan of Skins and jumped at the chance of a part — even though it’s quite a risque role.

“Scriptwriters are toying with the idea of him taking one of the pupils to bed. It promises to be pretty shocking stuff, but in the context of the show it’s no surprise.

“Skins is all about causing controversy by showing exactly what really goes on in the lives of today’s teens.”

Despite modest ratings. Skins became a hugely talked-about show when it launched on digital channel E4 last year.

The Bristol-based teen drama shocked viewers with its explicit scenes of drug-taking and sex.

Shane — last seen in ITV’s The Good Samaritan — is the latest high-profile telly star to guest star in the award-winning series.

Ex-Corrie babe Sarah Lancashire, Neil Morrissey and Harry Enfield appeared in series one. Series two is in production.
