Sad news --- he was a great actor and I enjoyed much of his work. |

He looks quite like an older Letterman eh?
Sad news to hear, but I think Tootsie was about the only one of his films I've seen. |

I don't see it myself... but of course the next time I see David Letterman, I will
I'd forgotten he was in Tootsie --- haven't seen that film in ages. |

I loved watching him on the Carol Bernette Show. He and Tim Conway always had me in stitches. He will be missed. |

So sad. I loved The Carol Burnett Show. The best was when Tim Conway would make Harvey Korman laugh and mess up his lines. |

He was the best on The Carol Burnett show. He'll be missed. Another old time comedian leaves us all. |

I about jumped out of my skin when I read this. I have been waiting for this movie since I was eight! I'm a huge Elfquest nerd and it's actually the comic book that lead to my husband and I meeting up in the first place. So I owe a lot of my present happiness to those crazy elves. Hell, my first tattoo was an Elfquest tattoo. My only hope is that it isn't screwed up and I am worried about it being live action. I just don't think that would work. But we will see and hopefully all these years of waiting will be worth it. I won't hold my breath yet. |

My nephew told me he saw that they might be making "The Good Shepherd" into a trilogy. He mentioned the website Hollywood Wiretap but I haven't found any corroboration.
Frankly, I'm not sure how they could expand on the story. Without spoiling anything, it movie seemed to be quite complete as-is. |

I was never a fan myself - he really just seemed to do knob-gags from what I remember - but it's a shame he died at a pretty young age. |
