CORONATION STREET's Battersby family will take on Emmerdale?s Hope clan in the All Star Family Fortunes Christmas special. The Weatherfield team is lead by Bruce Jones (Les) and Wendi Peters (Cilla) while Deena Payne (Viv) and Tony Audenshaw (Bob) head the Woolpack hopefuls. Also taking part are Corrie?s Andy Whyment (Kirk); Samia Smith (Maria); and Jayne Tunnicliffe (Yana); as well as Emmerdale favourites Adele Silva (Kelly); Alex Carter (Jamie); and Verity Rushworth (Donna).
The charity show hosted by Vernon Kay on Boxing Day is the last in the current run but ITV chiefs look likely to order a second series as the new version of the classic quiz has won ratings of more than six million since moving to a Saturday night prime time slot. An ITV1 spokesman told us: ?The soap edition is great Christmas entertainment with some very funny moments in it.?

I bet the "Battersbys" are game for a laugh in this appearance.
What was the name of the show that the Barlows and MacDonalds appeared on and won a family car a few seasons back?
I hope I have access to the wider site by Boxing Day  |
