I went to a meeting today that was the first in Scotland of a group which has setup to help people become more aware of their legal standing in court cases regarding the government. A pal of mine had invited me along, but I was feeling pretty skeptical about it; thinking it was gonna be like a conspiracy group or something. But I was wrong. It was very interesting indeed.
They covered topics like not paying road tax, council tax, tv licence etc - there was one lady there who hadn't paid such things for more than 20 years, and had the law on her side.
There are groups all over the world being set up to focus on such matters and if you're prepared to learn how to do it, you can save yourself thousands of unfair taxes placed upon you as a legal entity.
I met some very cool people and the meeting was lively, with 4-5 speakers, videos and even a nice bowl of homemade soup thrown in!

I say this in all sincerity - I am not trying to make a joke- but how do you tell the fair taxes from the unfair? Governments, federal, state, local, whatever, need tax money to function. I am not one of those "don't want to pay any taxes" kind of person, and don't mind paying my fair share, but how does one determine unfair share? |

I think the people involved see the whole government corporation as unfair, so will try to avoid it where possible. I did ask one guy if he would be prepared to pay for any medical treatment that he got (free on the nhs) and he said that he recently had tried to, but they had no method for it. |
