Pokey Little Puppy was my all time favorite as a child (I still have it) so this was a little disturbing for me...

I love it as well. As a matter of fact I have the original 1942 printing that was my father's. It's one of my great treasures.

The poor book is well loved. Yellowed tape holding it together. But I'm with you, I love it.

I have one like that, although it is not that old. It was my first book (my mother was a librarian, so I was probably only hours old when I got it!). It is called "Bobby Had a Nickel" and is about what Bobby could do with his nickel (He sure could do alot with that money in 1962!) and it is held together with tape and has some toddler scribbles on it, but it was read thousands of times and well loved. Pokey still comes first, though....Oh, yeah and Ping the Duck. Love Ping!

Oh, there is my friend Ping...Marcella and the kids bought me a wooden Ping that I just had to go out and by an antique hallway dest to display him on!! I just love Ping.....

Yeah, he is pretty cool. BTW, thanks to whomever resized my photo. I didn't know what to do when it turned out so big.
