Our cat 'Cheeky' has been ill the last week or two... my brother took her to the vet they're saying she won't survive an anaesthetic, so the only option is to put her down.
11 years she's been jumping about, so I'll miss her. I don't envy my brother having to deal with the vet, but I did it twice before with other pets.
We'd got her after she was abused by the family she was living with before and it took a good 4 months before she'd even come out of hiding behind the couch.
I'm very sorry to hear that you have to put your kitty down. It's so hard to lose a pet, they are truly like family members. It's even tougher being the one holding the pet while the doctor gives the final shot. She looked like a beautiful kitty.
