Video of the new and unused RAF Nimrods being scrapped before they even went into service!

BAE put screens up to hide the scrapping process, looks like somebody chartered a chopper and flew overhead!

Without a threat from a significant air force there was never a need for these new planes in the first place. The only people benefitting from them are the contractors.
There's always this kickup about protecting bases from closure etc, but why are those people so often saved while people in any other industry have been kicked in the nuts? |
