On Sunday I watched Rangers beat St.Mirren in the CIS League Cup final and had to admit that St Mirren just hadn't played the game well at all. Celtic played St.Mirren last night and were beaten! It's bad enough being beaten by them at all (it's 20+ years since that last happened), but 4-0!

Tony Mowbray resigned today. Thank feck! angry

Celtic played with 6 forwards !! Great strategy.

I never thought he'd last. Celtic needs someone who could keep a reasonable team in the Premiership, not one who fails first hurdle.

Yeah, Martin O'Neill was excellent and he's now doing pretty well at Aston Villa too. Someone at least as smart as him is required.

At 4-0 I was convinced it would be ten!

Used to have a bobble hat back in the 80s with Spurs on one side and Celtic on the other.

cool, but why would such a hat be made? I've never known of any connection between the two.

I've no idea... a few of us had them. Followed the two teams.

Aye SPL is not only boring but the football is mince. Seriously goddawful. Watch teams come to PAradise (Celtic PArk) and not even venture anywhere near the halfway line lest they get a nose bleed being so high up the pitch. There's a lot of hatred in the SPL too.

What I mean is that every player seems to despise the ball and wants to kick it away ahead of them as hard as they can. But enough about the first touch.

It's unbelievably frustrating being a Celtic fan and seeing teams like Wigan in EPL, and, now Swansea, a Welsh club, are there - the envy is rising. 5 Seasons in English football, even starting from the bottom rung and Celtic would be mid table EPL.

10 Seasons and it's mid-upper end.

It's £40 M for getting relegated from EPL + Parachute payments and it's £1.3M for winning the SPL! If we had the money that the EPL clubs get, we'd be able to attract better players - 60 000 fans every home game, it'd just go up exponentially.

Cellic away up at Tannadice today to face Dundee United. A few seaons ago this was the hardest ground to go to bar Mordor (Ibrox) but now i would expect us to pick up three points after a tough but winnable game.

I'd go with Forster, Mulgrew, Rogne, Loovens (unless either of the Wilsons are fit, Kelvin or Mark), Mathews, Kayal, Wanyama, Samaras, Ki, Forrest, Hooper.

Subs: Stokes, McCourt, McGeouch, Brown
