Halloween takeaways for free – if you wait at a graveyard
An online takeaway business will offer free food to people brave enough to order to a graveyard or cemetery this Halloween.

Hungryhouse.co.uk has launched a new scheme which will see pizzas and curries being delivered to spooky burial grounds around the UK between the hours of 6pm and midnight. The move comes after a recent survey found that some of the strangest places takeaways had been ordered to over the past year included The Ritz hotel in London, a slimming organisation in Nottingham and a graveyard in north London.

Graeme Horne, marketing manager for Hungryhouse.co.uk, said: 'For every order we get that includes the word "graveyard" in the order comments box delivered to graveyards or cemeteries across the UK, we will reimburse the cost of the takeaway to ensure that hungry frightseekers are at least well fed!'

Those wishing to enjoy a creepy curry or petrifying pizza for free, need to make sure that they check the restaurants which are part of the marketplace cover the postcode of graveyard that they want to order to. The word 'graveyard' then needs to be included in the online comment box and payment will be refunded upon delivery.

Launched four years ago, Hungryhouse.co.uk is a success story from the BBC's Dragons' Den, with James Caan and Duncan Bannatyne accepting a £100,000 deal with the website's owners.

This sounds a recipe for disaster! What if you got a whole coach-load of people to order?

I'd do it no problem. Bad idea.
