I've already responded to this on MediaLens as follows;

Yes, but my problem is that by definition, no "good" person could have supported the attack on Iraq, whatever their declared motivations; a “good” person would know the unspeakable horrors, any & every war involves, for it’s the nature of war. This is why it was declared the Supreme Crime by those who had just experience the hell of WW2, allowable only as a very last resort as self-defence in the case of an attack, thereby making the doctrine of pre-emption a War Crime by definition.

A warmonger is as odious as any mass murderer, serial killer or paedophile, for these are the crimes that they are willing to be allowed to be committed in untold numbers, and are therefore accessories to, facilitators to, and totally responsible for.

I guess here in the UK, Johann Hari is one that MM would consider as a “good” person who foolishly supported , and now regrets supporting the attack on Iraq, but you only have to recall the relish, and the vileness, with which he attacked those opposed to the “war”, and you will perhaps have the same difficulty as me as believing that he is fundamentally a “good” person who just made a made judgement. See Lenin’s on this point;

The attack on Iraq is a sort of litmus test for me, those who supported it are either evil or too stupid to be of any “good” to anybody.
