You are supposed to leave it on all the time and they learn to eat, drink and sleep with it on. Try changing her bowls about a bit to make it easier for her though, maybe raise them up on something like a tin so the colllar's not in the way too much.
My Percy had one on when she had a bad foot but she kept tangling herself up in it some much I took it off. Then she pulled her bandage off twice and walked little bloody footprints up the hallway.
haha, that's an idea that might have crossed my mind later Ash... but I just cut a bit of the thing off. Not enough that she can get to the stitches, but enough so she can eat and push all the food across the floor...
Couldn't find the picture of Beaker with his cone on, but I remember that his one little chew toy would always get stuck down around his chin and we'd have to fish it out. We always took the collar off for a bit each day so he could have some freedom to eat and drink.... as long as you watch them closely for the time it's off, no harm done. (Unless you're going to have a hell of a time getting it back on )
a little while back they added a smaller version of the london eye to the sea front here. i went on it a few weeks back at sunset hoping to get some good photos, but they all came out crap
luckily we had some half price tickets that ran out today, but this morning there was thick blanket of mist covering everything, but by the the time we got up there the mist had pretty much gone
