This is the trailer for a new show that's planned to be shown on a new tv network designed for the right-wing in America with the ad line "‘pro-America, pro-business and pro-military sensibilities’... The idea of that to anyone outside the USA will be a big joke in itself, of course. There isn't one left-wing mass media source in the USA! Anyway, to the trailer - hack, hack, hack. And Kelsey Grammer can piss right off!

Are you kidding me Face? Every media outlet with the exception of Fox News Channels is left wing biased. All of it. CNN, MSNBC, all the networks such as ABC, CBS, NBC. It's amazing that anyone hears an opposing opinion to left wing politics on most media outlets here. It's about time.

None of them are left-wing. They are all profit-driven corporations, so the very idea that they are left-wing is beyond silly.

the problem is what pirty and the american media portray as left wing isn't recognised as such anywhere else in the world. what me and you think of as left is just way off the scale for pirty. i also think pirty, and the media, confuses liberal and left wing.

to pirty, the pro war, pro torture, pro capitalist, pro israel, pro business, pro the current model of globalisation mantra espoused by the likes of cnn and msnbc is left wing. remember, pirty thinks obama and the democrats are left wing - that obama is bringing 'full blown socialism' to america. so if thats left wing to pirty, its no surprise that she thinks the media that are more supportive of obama are left wing.

what the rest of the world sees as left wing is just way off the scale to pirty ( and probably to lots of americans ) - i mean, pirty probably thinks a lot of us on here are just mad loony extremists who are so far left we're just off the scale

pirty, can you name one mainstream american media outlet that was against the invasion of iraq? that was against the invasion of afghanistan? that is against the continuing occupations? that questions the official narratives for those occupations? that is against the policies of israel and supportive of justice for the palestinians? that is against capitalism? that is against the current model of globalisation? that has consistently been against american torture? is there one media outlet saying capitalism is at fault, or even has flaws? is there one that reports the positives achieved in cuba or venezuela?

This was a new comedy sketch series based on Bird and Fortune's sketches that they've been performing for decades. I only watched the one about Iran for a minute or two before seeing that it was exactly what I expected it to be - trite, one-sided bullshit.

Maybe later on in the sketch they spoke about Israel's nuclear weapon programme, but I didn't bother hanging about to find out...
