In the Spring of 2008 I started the arduous but rewarding task of turning our back yard waste land into a garden. Now, two years along, it's starting to look more like my urban oasis. It's come a long way but still has some time to go.
2008
Today
Strawberries starting to come in nicely
Happy to say the water lily survived the horrible winter! |

I see your neighbour's dug up those bushes by the side of the fence - shame you couldn't have transplanted them in!
It is looking nice for sure, and that tree has really grown a fair bit too. |

Those "bushes" were actually my neighbors weeds! He was a bit lazy that year.
Thanks guys. It's been a lot of work, blood, sweat and tears, literally but I am glad I am taking pictures so I can actually see the progress! |
