GG and the BOOT.

Ok, Here goes:

I am so glad for Britain, and for us all, that you have a real politician in office, and with a talk show - GG, of course!

Now, I don't always agree with him, but on foreign policy and economics, we are in total agreement.
However, I am rather upset that GG has regularly, on his show, an American pundit named John Leboutilliier.
Before I go any further, let me list a few links for your perusal, regarding this onetime Republican congress critter:

Now don't get me wrong, I do not think GG should not have him on the show, but I do think we need to remind Mr. Galloway that this 'Boot' fellow, as he calls himself on his own site, has his own agenda, which is not all that obvious, from his 'punditry' on the talksports show, though it is a little more obvious on his own website. Also, since he is willing to attack others, in his new and oh so subtle manner, (some people do learn from their mistakes, it seems), it should be noted that this man never had to work a day in his life, at any kind of hard labor, or at any job for that matter, as he comes from the richest of the rich families in New York...not that he can be blamed for this...But shouldn't he be called out for this easy life of his, when he claims to represent an entire country, and when most of the citizens of said country have to 'work' at some low paying job for their entire life? And when, as he did last week, he makes ridiculous claims that Obama (who I am not happy with, by the way), never showed anyone his birth certificate? By the way, THIS IS AN OUTRIGHT TEA PARTY LIE!...his birth certificate is available for all to see, even online, at this site:

And did I mention that 'The Boot' lied about so many other things going on in America? Too many to mention!

Also, if you need more proof, type, "Obama birth certificate", into google, or any of the better, and less privacy killing, search engines, and you will find who is behind this nasty personal attack...none other than world net daily...the very company that pays John_LeBoutillier to spew his venom! Yes, he writes a column for one of their 'newsmags'.

Why am I all riled up about this? Because I love the 'Mother of all Talkshows' and GG, enough to be alarmed and bothered, when my own country, (Yes, I am right this minute, hanging my head in shame, since we suffered a true Coup in my land when I was a child (think JFK), and my country does so much evil in the world, and to its own people), is defined by a royalist like the BOOT! Alas, bad as the new 'USA' is, mostly thanks to the very families that produced the 'BOOT' out of thin air (mumble mumble)), it is terrible to hear it misrepresented on the mother of all talkshows. Also, maybe George does not know that this man, John Leboutilliier, is truly a royalist, comes from one of the most uppity families in New York, and was a fierce Ronald 'Raygun' supporter (which the 'BOOTY' never mentions on GG's show)...in fact he was so nasty as a congressman, with his mean spirited attacks on 'Liberals' and moderate Republicans (in the time when that was possible), that even his own party rejected him in the 2nd election, and he was 'booted' out of congress, to begin his career as a 'writer' for the Imperial Cause...

So, to conclude, how is this nasty man going to help give us the dish on American politics and culture, as GG says, when he introduces him? From the point of view to the right of Fox Fake News, that's how! I also have noticed, and wish to point out, that he goes to great lengths to fool George and the rest of us!

I just thought this should be pointed out, since so many here probably listen to George Galloway and his talksports show, and because GG is truly one of my heroes. Nobody, not even the heroic, are perfect, though.
I figured it was time for me to get this off my chest. Thanks for offering me the space here to do so!

Now, the other reason for this post:

Can anyone tell me how to write the show, or call in from America?

I have tried to email George's website, and just get a routine robo email in return. I hear Americans calling in, but when I call talksports I never even get to a busy signal, let alone through to the producer...I know I am inept sometimes...so please tell me how to get through to GG! Or maybe I should not call overseas and get on the Tea Party watch list! Oh my, I just had a little tremor of terror go up my spine!

Ok, Enough from ME, and enough edits already!

Thanks Joe. Yes I don't think fans of George would warm to him much if he did show his true colours. But he appears on George's show mainly as an impartial critic...well I think he tries to, anyway.

Actually a lot of George's American pundits on his show sway towards the right. They first preface themselves as being 'centre' or 'neutral' but then go on, throwing reactionary barbs, manically without pausing for breath. Revealing their truer right-wing side.

Interesting stuff Joe, cheers. GG does have a number of right-wing people that he classes as friends, but I think most of it is down to respect for them having the strength of character to make their point.

I wasn't aware that The Boot was a congressman, so it's good to get a bit of background on him.

Have you tried using skype to call in? That should work, and GG's always pleased to get calls from outside the country.

Thanks for the thoughtful replies...ah, glad I have stopped having right wing friends myself, but alas, I guess I'll have to continue to give GG a break or two, as you are both right, in that he would appreciate anyone able to be conversational and well spoken, like the deceptive 'BOOT'. I guess I'll have to try to urge more 'enlightened' folks to get to know about GG's show, and eventually call in...'fight for the light', so to speak. It truly would be a darker world without GG's awe inspiring voice... as well as his most memorable callers...

Anyone know how long the show will be down if GG has to electioneer, and will you still grab the show without him...I'm always interested in hearing any interesting voices on your wickedly rich radio medium. Who would have thought the radical George Galloway would have a radio show back in the day! Thank God for cats and Big Brother!

I wish I could use skype, but alas, I live way out in the California desert, in a ghost town with 29 living souls and a whole bunch of old miner's ghosts... 50 miles from the nearest small town...and have to use a satellite system to get online, and due to the purposefully weakened broadband in all our rural areas, here in the quickly backward moving USA, skype will not work.

Can anyone give me the actual broadcast times of GG's show? Maybe that is what I'm doing wrong.

I remember googling LeBoutillier the night he first appeared on the show (it took me a while to get the spelling correct) and thinking wtf? I cringe every time George calls him a "sage". I can tell that John relishes the opportunity to spew his analysis this side of the Atlantic. I quite enjoy his appearances though.
