I guess Weight Watchers figured as long as the lumpy bits were on the food, they wouldn't be on you! Laughing

ok, just an update: I was on Weight Watchers in the 70s (I think the first time I joined was in '72 at the age of 10) and I remember having to eat liver every week. My mother and I both shoved it down with lots of ketchup, but I have to say it would have never gotten down with that chicken liver recipe!! Bleck....

We don't know who "Marcy" is, only that she thinks "enchilada" is wacky Mexican talk for "shit on a shingle."

Laughing

Spurs, we got liver quite a bit as kids and I thought it was ok for years. Then I found out what it was.

Laughing That looks disgusting, and, of course, nothing like an enchilada.

My opinion on liver is that it's gross, and actually very unhealthy (cholesterol!!!) ---- if you know what it does in your body, you'd likely never eat it Laughing I know everyone says it's full of iron, but there are plenty of other ways of getting iron.

I think it was the whole iron aspect of liver that WW was going for, and now there is no mention of it anywhere as something you have to include in your meals -- THANK GOODNESS!!! Vile stuff...

These cards are really entertaining...great find!!
