Larry Lamb has warned his 'EastEnders' character could kill Phil Mitchell.
The actor - who plays Phil's uncle, Archie Mitchell warned that as his character
seeks revenge on his family and former fiancee Peggy - who has spurned him - he
could go to drastic lengths in order to avenge himself.
Larry said: "He has always known that Phil is as much of a psycho as he is and
potentially dangerous. But I think Archie's always had the wherewithal to do
away with Phil if he wants to.
"He's a wealthy man and all it would take is a phone call."
He also said Archie is on a "bobsleigh ride to hell" - hinting that he could
possibly be lined up to exit in a dramatic Christmas storyline.
Larry, 65, said: "Archie's not actually going anywhere at the moment because he
still loves Peggy. Even psychotic people can be in love. I have no idea how he
will leave, but the story has definitely got more legs. He's on a bobsleigh ride
to hell." |

Yeah, I usually like evil, but Archie's evil somehow misses the mark. I am not sure why...maybe because his chant of "I love you, Peggy" gets boring. Hopefully his bobsleigh ride will prove me wrong!! |
