I’d like to add something... clearly
I have only been interested in Jacque's work for a short while but in that time I have become very fond of his ideals.
From a personal point of view I like his thinking on sociology and believe there is some merit in his assumptions of what things would be like. Although I openly accept it is an ideal view I agree with him that the monetary system brings out the worst in people and creates what i like to call Giants (in regards corporations and corrupt governments). These are issues that a resource based economy potentially would solve. A point I would like to raise is that the resources the world are only partially unlocked in a society which is as obsessed with money as ours is. I entirely believe what we have the capabilities to supply a certain (if not comfortable) standard of living for all in this world and that can never be without radical chance (something that may also never be possible). But it’s well worth joining the movement IMO.
On a educational note I also love the fact that although his architectural design is based on functionality he still comes out with near sculpture-est looking buildings. This is particularly interesting for myself as part of my university course I am being asked to design a radio for Alessi. He proves to me that you don’t have to be in to commercialism to create truly beautiful style.

On a tiny foot note I have no doubt that a lot of you may have found that the second Zeitgeist movie links to him on their site. All-round a worth while avenue of thought I hope some of you agree.

Cheers
Chris
