I quite enjoyed his films but whenever I tried reading one of his books the science bits just seemed too much like reading a textbook.

It's sad to hear he's snuffed it though.

I always preferred his books to the movies. The only one I didn't really like was his sequel to "Jurassic Park".

I will miss him. I enjoyed most of his books and he was very creative.

i only ever read congo, and that was much better than the film. i really liked jurassic park though

I also read Congo and enjoyed it and enjoyed Jurrasic Park, but my all time fav of his is ER. I love that show and am sorry that this is the last season. I have been watching it since the beginning. Now I can see why they are ending it. I didn't know that he was sick.

I liked some of his stuff but 'State of Fear' was probably the worst book I have ever read.

Not only was it full of complete deluded shit denying climate change it was wrapped up in a disgraceful fictional 'plot'.

It's a shame he didn't live long enough to have to issue an apology for being so wrong.
