I think I voted more to who I want to win (mccain), but I don't know who will actually win. It could be another squeaker. The gap is narrowing again in the polls. Who knows, I think it's just too close to tell.

I think it might be him too. If that's the case then I see a massive increase in civil unrest in America, which might actually be healthy for their God-given democracy in the long run.

I hope it's Obama though - he is an intelligent, well spoken and knowledgeable man. McCain is a little more than a competent karaoke performer in comparison.

I also hope McCain will win but it appears that it's going to be Obama. I will be loyal to who ever wins but Face's comment caught my eye. For months I've been wondering why I and my fellow Americans have not taken to the streets in protest of current economic conditions here. IMO the winner inherits a train wreck in January.

I think and hope it will be Obama. McCain is the old boys and with our current state we will only get worse with him. As for his VP pick, I won't even comment. But she still makes me cringe.

I have done my research on both plans and spoken to people in the financial and health care industry and they all agree that Obama's plans are better for America then McCains.

Do I think Obama is some grand savior? No. He's human and he's going to cock up things as well but he's not going to cock it up like McCain would.

i was listening to the radio this morning and they had american investigative reporter greg palast on - hes the guy that did lots of work looking into the 2000 and 2004 elections and the voting problems surrounding them.

here he is talking about the 2008 electoral process and the problems with people being purged from voting lists and people being challenged etc

FOUR out of five British people want Barack Obama to win the race for the White House, a Sunday Mirror/ICM poll reveals today. And they believe the man who looks certain to be America’s first black president will make the world a safer place than John McCain.

Of those quizzed, 66 per cent said they would back Democrat Obama against just 15 per cent supporting his Republican rival. But once undecided voters are excluded from the results, 81 per cent back Obama with 19 per cent supporting McCain. The huge endorsement from British voters came on the last weekend of campaigning before election day on Tuesday. Our poll reveals UK voters believe the risk of future wars and other global threats will be reduced if Obama becomes leader of the free world.

A total of 56 per cent said Obama would make the world safer, with only 11 per cent believing it would be more dangerous with him in the Oval Office. But 36 per cent said the world would be more dangerous under McCain, with just 25 per cent believing it would be safer.

The astonishing rise of former Chicago lawyer Obama raised the possibility of Britain’s first black PM, according to our poll. Four out of 10 people think Britain will have its first black PM within a decade, although 15 per cent think it will never happen.

In the US yesterday, the latest polls showed a small drop in Obama’s lead over McCain. Obama leads McCain by 49 per cent to 44 per cent – down from a seven-point lead on Friday. ICM Research interviewed a random sample of 503 adults aged 18 and older by telephone on October 31/November 1.

Thank goodness only Americans can vote in the US elections. I personally don't want this country to become socialist, and Obama will drag this country towards just that. God help us all if that happens. :-(
