I have had this question in my head every since the VP for the Democrats was nominated and I believe picked: Joe Biden.
Please observe the following clip:
I hope others have seen this. If not, please watch. The thing that set me off was where he said he is a zionist and who you do not need to be a Jew to be one.
What does George Galloway think about this, I wonder?
I'm not sure how Galloway fits Biden into his passion for the Palestinians, while having great support for Obama. As far as I'm concerned they're the least worst option - which doesn't really say much for the broadness of the political spectrum.
How do you know when a politician is lying? His/Her lips are moving.
I think people need to realize that this is a politician speaking. I don't believe a word that comes out of their mouths more than half the time. He could easily come out tomorrow and say he didn't mean that, it was taken wrong/out of context, etc. Just because he says it doesn't mean he means it 100%. It's the nature of the beast. I tend to go by actually voting records and what happened when they were in office then to listen to one word that comes out of their mouths.
Oh holy crap. Was this guy even thinking when he was saying this stuff? If this represents his views then how can an Obama presidency have any hope of a perceived "balanced" middle east policy?
...and sadly, another reason for some Yanks not to vote for Obama.
