After hearing Galloway plead for people to download his talksport podcast from itunes - with the intention of getting him into the top 3 along with Russell Brand and Stephen Fry - I thought I'd check it out.
I don't see how he could come close to being as popular in normal circles as Russell Brand or Stephen Fry, Jimmy Carr etc but what the hell eh?
Mandy, did you know about this before the show? It sounded like a bit of a slap to be honest. |

He's at 87 in the UK. Jon Gaunt is at 30 surprisingly enough, as he's above Chris Evans, Terry Wogan and Steve Wright...

GG mentioned this evening that there was a 'current affairs' chart, which has Jon Gaunt at #1, but I can't find it while looking on the site.
Do you know where that is Kate? Or anyone else? |

Are you just looking on the iTunes website? You probably need to have iTunes installed on your computer and access the podcast pages from within the program. I can't see any 'current affairs' chart, but there's a 'news and politics' chart that has a picture of the 'Gauntcast' and the GG podcast right at the top of the page under 'new and notable'.
In that chart Gaunt is currently at number 5 and George is at 8. |
