The Stuff
pound fresh ground beef
Kosher Salt freshly ground black pepper and Montreal steak seasoning
A few splashes of Lee and Perrins (Worcester sauce )
4 slices white Cheddar, sliced 1/4-inch thick or grated
4 hamburger buns I use country white from a local bakers
1 large onion sliced and grilled or fryed
What to do
Preheat grill or a cast iron skillet to high.
Season the meat with salt pepper steak seasoning and lee and perrins and divide into 4x 4oz patties
Grill or cook in the skillet for 3 to 4 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness. During last minutes of cooking add 2 slices of cheese to each burger, cover grill and let melt,
warm the Buns .... Place burger on bun and top with the onions ........ Add a Few crisps and Bobs ya uncle .......
Bloody Delish
I also make a mayo with a few splashes of lee and perrins and salt and pepper and mayo
Enjoy

I've always tried to make burgers, but they always end up just like big meatballs. I'll give these a go and see how I go though - these look great! |

A way to get around that Face is to make the ball of meat, take it between two pieces of wax paper and take a book or other flat object and push it down to make the patty. It works loads better then just doing it by hand. |

Face just make a ball and then flatten in palms of ya hands .... also a great trick that works and stops them from breaking up when cooking .....once u have made them stick them in freezer for about 15 mins they will be starting to freeze on the outside....makes it much easier to cook them with out falling apart.....and do not press down on them while cooking ......Big mistake that
here are other ones from last year ....... even though they are chicken and loads of stuff in them ..theres pics there so u know how they should look face

ps I noticed that u made those ones face |

right enough, the chicken ones were good for sure - I'll definitely try with these. I remember hearing about the freezing for a bit idea somewhere else, so I'll go for that too. I quite like burgers thin though, so I'll try Sky's book idea too. |
