Me likes! Me likes! I think someone will catch summer though. I hope Mickey doesn't leave the show getting burned up in the house, that would be a terrible way to go. |

What a great episode! I loved it and I liked the way it turned out. I also like the way it tied Zainab and her past. |

It really was a great episode Spurs. The only thing I didn't like was the way it ended. I thought it was a bit anticlimactic to have it end with Abbi texting her dad. We should have seen that but it being the last scene was a bit meh.
The whole explosion, the way Vinnie reacted, Bianca, Zainab, all of it was great. I was very impressed as to see Keith actually get off his ass and work to save someone, putting his own life at risk. Let's hope this changing his character a bit, even though I wouldn't mind him leaving |

So weird. The Keith and Micky characters are scheduled to leave the Square and there were a several times during the episode where I wondered IS THIS WHERE HE DIES? And then at the end of the episode they're both still alive. Mickey could still die in the hospital though. Zainab had a run last night too. Can't wait for tonight's epi. |

The episode was great! I am tired of seeing Abbi take her temper tantrums, too much like Lucy's antics. I figured the dead one would be May because it would be anticlimatic seeing her carted off to funny farm. I thought it was great seeing all the residents together trying to save the Miller's, even Shirley had tears in her eyes and seemed human. I won't miss Keith but I do hate to see Mickey leave. Maybe this will bring Jase and Dawn back together. |

I will miss Mickey as well. Keith I won't miss a bit. He has never been endearing to me and it wasn't just his hygiene. It's the fact that he never really gives a damn about anyone else but himself and expects others around him to not only cater to his every whim but he puts on the act that he does care and how good he is. It took Dawn almost dying for him to actually step up and do the right thing and that was only because his son was pointing out to him what worthless git he was.
As for Mickey, he is one character that never really reached his full potential. The bumbled him along from background, to friends, to failed relationships and stalls. I think he could have done a lot more than playing the cheeky lad who started off selling stuff that feel off the back of a van. It's a shame really, but maybe they will leave the door open for a return. Of Mickey that is, not Keith! |

Yeah, Keith's character was terrible - he was obviously written in to pander to some women's idea of how awful men can be. A male version of Nora Batty from 'Last Of The Summer Wine' if you will.

I think the way everyone reacted was good as well. I was particularly surprised to see Shirley being so concerned --- I think this stint as the manager at the Vic is bringing out some good qualities in her. |
