I couldn't believe that James Corden won the award for best comedy performance. If anyone's watched Gavin and Stacey and enjoyed it, can they say what it is that's original or special about it? I've tried a couple of episodes and just find myself wondering whether I'd be better off spending the time chewing the edge of my desk.

Great to see that Harry Hill's show won two awards though - it's one of the funniest shows of the last few years. Also, Peep Show was defintiely worth winning the best sitcom.
