I saw this clip on a talk show awhile back and tried the recipe with a few changes.... loved it and so did my friends. Thought I'd pass it along. It's really simple to change it to suit your own tastes.

What I changed:

Used chicken and beef instead of tofu
Used Oyster sauce instead of 'fish sauce" (couldn't find "Fish" sauce at the store).
Added extra soy sauce the the sauce mixture
Left out the shrimp (don't like shrimp!)
Only used lime for a garnish

I like Pad Thai too, but for some reason I find it tricky to get the noodles right without them getting sticky and congealed, so after a couple of attempts I ended up going to my local takeaway.

On another point, How come you're watching the CBC for non-hockey related shows? I didn't think anyone did that. ; )

I will have to give this one a try ......I would also like some heat in mine ..so might add some chilli sauce to it .......

Try the kind from Loblaws--- I've had good luck with them Smile

And I watch the odd CBC program, but will indeed be watching "Hockey Night in Canada" tonight so don't worry Smile

@Aja --- Go ahead and add chili or whatever --- I just can't handle spicy food but this recipe lends itself to variation .
