STOP PRESS: GEORGE GALLOWAY APPEARING ON NEWSNIGHT TONIGHT
Respect MP George Galloway has been invited onto the BBC's Newsnight programme this evening as part of a discussion on George Bush's visit to the Middle East and his thinly veiled threats against Iran.
At the time of writing it looks like George might be up against failed neo-con John Boulton. This won't just be one to watch, it'll also be one to set the record button for. And it's one to let your friends, family and workmates know about.
Newsnight starts 10.30pm on BBC 2.
Please note though, Newsnight's line-up has been known to change at the last minute, so our apologies in advance if that happens this evening.
I was "disappointed" (but not surprised) that the BBC white-washed all the possible excuses for how the pollsters got it "wrong", except for the most obvious possibility of vote tampering using the electronic voting machines which have no paper trail.
the full-fat version of the appearance on Newsnight is now in the archive section - youtube is taking a while to process, so I'll post it when that's ready
The Galloway video seems to be pretty popular... on youtube it's had about 500 views and here on http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a22_1199950485 another 500, which isn't bad at all for a political news clip.
