Dear friend,
To raise funds for Respect, we're holding a Burns Night celebration with George Galloway MP, who will address the haggis. Tickets cost £20, which includes a 3-course meal and a tot of whisky (or not) - and if it's entertainment you're after, a man in a kilt will do a jig.This promises to be a great, fun night - please do come, bring your friends and help raise funds for the important campaigning work Respect will be doing in 2008.

It's on Saturday, 26 January, from 7.30pm, at the Cittee Of Yorke pub, 22 High Holborn, London WC1V 6BN. The nearest tube is Chancery Lane on the Central Line. Click here for a map.

WTF?! The party doesn't stand in Scotland, with Galloway basically saying he's not Scottish but British and yet here they go, having a party to celebrate Scotland's national bard, who not even 30% of Scots understand! Wha's like us.

I hope that there is a vegetarian option for the moslem members (they are banned from eating offal after all). Everything's wrong with this, but I hope it works out well.
