I've never seen an official site that's as badly made - the alignment is my main problem, it hurts my brain.... The person who designed this should be on a Top 10 Least Wanted list! The whole thing is done in html, using version 4 of Adobe's 'GoLive' program - Adobe are now up to version 9, not that would make a shit designer that much better.

I can't figure it out myself. I see so many government run sites and it looks like a elementary kid who is just learning web design is making it. Lord knows a lot of high school kids I know would do loads better.

there must be some logical reason for it - I'm guessing the person was made responsible for it wanted to get a geometrically challenged family member a job....

I love how the third most wanted guy has been caught, and rather than removing him from the list, they just uploaded a new picture of him with "captured" written on.

YOu know what? It hasn't alway sbeen like that. I remember looking at it a few years back and it was really "official" Looking. Maybe they changed it to look more appealing to John Q. Public? It looks kind of "Yea! USA!"

Quote:
Usage variations of bin Laden's name

Because there is no universally accepted standard in the West for transliterating Arabic words and names into English, bin Laden's name is transliterated in many ways. The version often used by most English-language mass media is Osama bin Laden. Most American government agencies, including the FBI and CIA, use either Usama bin Laden or Usama bin Ladin, both of which are often abbreviated to UBL. Less common renderings include Ussamah Bin Ladin and Oussama Ben Laden (French-language mass media). The latter part of the name can also be found as Binladen or Binladin.

Strictly speaking, Arabic linguistic conventions dictate that he be referred to as "Osama" or "Osama bin Laden", not "bin Laden," as "Bin Laden," is not used as a surname in the western manner, but simply as part of his name, which in its entirety means "Osama, son of Mohammed, son of 'Awad, son of Laden". However, the bin Laden family (or "Binladin", as they prefer to be known) do generally use the name as a surname in the Western style. Consequently "bin Laden" has become nearly universal in Western references to him, Arabic convention notwithstanding.

Bin Laden also has several commonly used aliases and nicknames, including the Prince, the Sheikh, Al-Amir, Abu Abdallah, Sheikh Al-Mujahid, the Lion Sheik,[74] the Director, Imam Mehdi and Samaritan.[75]

notice how they don't list 9/11 on his wanted page ...

you should get in there faceless with your new company, i bet the fbi pay nice wink

Fair enough..... but I would think that most people know him as Osama and I would think the more common name should be on the Most Wanted page. But thanks for the info Smile
