When I first saw the headline, I thought "oh this looks promising!" since my 2 German Shepherds are in need of a bath, but after seeing this......I'll stick with bathing them myself. Surely, this "machine" can not be used by people who care about their dogs? |

It sorta looks like a big microwave. I am not really even a dog person (I like other people's but they are far too much commitment for me! ) and I wouldn't put a dog in that. |

Thanks for posting this, Sky. I heard this on the radio this morning and just couldn't picture what it looked like. Apparently they guy who developed this has gone inside it himself to show people that it's not cruel, etc.
Personally speaking, I'd never put my dog in that..... not that he'd go in anyway
Interestingly enough, when I worked in a long term care facility, we had a similar type thing that we put our patients in --- used to call it the "carwash" . It was like a long tube and only their head stuck outside. We had holes where we put our hands into gloves that extended inside so we could wash them up. Some patients quite liked it as they were secure and couldn't fall or slip, but most didn't care for it. |
