Stressed Stacey fears her dream wedding will end in disaster when Bradley tells her he wants his dad to be best man!
Could this push Stacey into calling off her big day?
The bride-to-be can't face the thought of her fiancé bestowing such an honour on the man she slept with behind his back. So she pleads with Max to turn him down.
A jittery Max spends the day doing his utmost to avoid Bradley. But how on earth can he say no to his own son?
"Stacey is shocked!" says Lacey Turner, who plays her. "It's going to be hard enough as it is, having to play happy families with Max, but him being Bradley's best man would just be wrong."
At the start of the week, Stacey mentions to her mum that she is uncomfortable with the idea of Max paying for her wedding dress, so Jean says she will make her one instead and won't take no for an answer!
Reluctantly, Stacey tries on some gowns for her mother. But they make her look more like an old-fashioned toilet-roll cover than an elegant bride!
"Stacey doesn¹t want her mother to feel left out of the wedding plans," explains Lacey. "But she is worried about her taking on too much."
Things go from bad to worse when Mo shows Stacey some truly hideous Eighties-style dresses of her own.
When Jean sees her daughter trying on the garish get-up, she is deeply hurt and walks out, saying she won't be coming to the wedding.
Still in the gruesome gown, Stacey sets off in hot pursuit across the Square as a bewildered Max looks on!
Later, Max confronts Jean. He tells her to grow up and stop spoiling her daughter's wedding plans.
He then suggests Jean read something at the wedding, so that she will still be an important part of her daughter's big day.
Impressed that his dad has restored peace, Bradley stuns Stacey by telling her that he is going to ask his dad to be his best man.
Desperate Stacey visits Max to urge him to turn Bradley down when he asks.
Max manages to avoid Bradley and the dreaded question for the best part of the day, but he is finally collared and has to reply.
"Stacey really hopes that Max will listen to her plea," adds Lacey. "But at the moment, they are both making snide digs at each other." How will Max react to his son's proposal?

Ian Beale’s missing and while many Walford residents would see this as an excuse for a knees-up, Jane misses him.
She curses her hubby for leaving her with the terrible twins, Peter and Lucy, who are refusing to go to school.
Then she discovers Ian never arrived at the hotel he’d booked. We all know it’s not like Ian to waste money so, after all the recent spooky goings-on, Jane panics and calls in the police.
There are various theories as to Ian’s whereabouts. Jane reckons Cindy’s sister Gina is a “nut job” and accuses her of kidnapping him; Lucy thinks he’s run off with Cindy, who she’s convinced is alive, and the police believe he’s done what blokes do in a crisis – a runner.
Jane dashes around trying to track down her other half, but gets nowhere fast. With no idea where Ian might be, she sobs on Pat’s large motherly shoulder pads.
Then someone turns up in Jane’s kitchen who may have information to help solve the mystery.
It’s not who you think, but if we say any more EastEnders bosses will send Phil Mitchell round!
