Looks like the fascist tendencies to ban things is alive & well [whilst spreading falsehoods] (where's all the Rushdie defenders ?)



Ironic hearing the above just as we hear about the distorted C4 program today.

As Harry wrote in another thread "its almost unbelievable that the leader of a 9 strong group in parliament calls for the holy book of a major religion to be banned. What a medieval, barbaric idea!"

I totally agree.

It's a pathetically stupid and offensive thing to say but it's just part and parcel of having PR as a voting system. If we had it here then there would be BNP mp's saying much the same under Parliamentary Privilege. Not that that means I'm against PR of course but it's part of the package.
