man with no shoes

as a truck driver you see lots of strange things when driving today when i was on the m5 there was a man walking on the hard shoulder with no shoes it looked very painfull

As Confucius probably once said, the man with no shoes should weep for the man with no feet...

that's an odd thing to see though - were there any breakdowns before that?

I have to say, I sometimes drive my car without any shoes on, but usually that is because I'm wearing pointy heeled shoes or flip flops and I don't want them getting stuck while clutching or braking. I usually keep the shoes with me in the car though......Maybe the guy drives without shoes and broke down? Interesting.
