I think the last "proper" Doctor was Peter Davison.
Where should I stand to be shot? |

I liked that too.... (the hidden bit above)
Message to Face.....
It seems there are several Tardises standing unused in Glasgow. Can you confirm, and if so, see if you can hitch a ride?

the one on Great Western road is about 2 miles away and I think it pretty much is a time-machine for the poor buggers that work in it - as soon as they go in, time stands still... |

Catherine Tate is to rejoin the full-time cast of Doctor Who, as the Time Lord’s new companion. The comedian will return to her role as Donna, who featured in last year's Christmas special The Runaway Bride, for the full 13-week run of the new series. At the end of the episode, The Doctor invited Donna to travel with him – but she refused.
At the time, Tate was asked if she would like to become the Doctor's new sidekick and replied: ‘I would love to, but no one has asked.’ Executive producer Russell T Davies said: ‘Catherine was an absolute star in The Runaway Bride and we are delighted that one of Britain's greatest talents has agreed to join us for the fourth series.’ Tate said: ‘I am delighted to be returning to Doctor Who. I had a blast last Christmas and look forward to travelling again through time and space with that nice man from Gallifrey.’
The fourth series of the revitalised Doctor Who goes into production this July and will air in spring 2008. Yesterday the BBC confirmed that Kylie Minogue will be joining Doctor Who for an hour-long Christmas special. Freema Agyeman who played the Doctor’s most recent companion Martha Jones, will return midway through series four.

Well there's a turnup - not sure if I'll enjoy seeing her in every show though... |

I was a bit shocked when I saw that myself on digital spy last night. Maybe she will be toned down a bit. |

I didn't like her much, but the producers haven't really put a foot wrong in since bringing back 'The Doctor' so I have every faith in them.
Maybe it was the fact that I didn't think the christmas episode was especially strong last year has something to do with it. |

Quote: | The BBC have released the first picture from the 2007 Christmas Special: Voyage of the Damned.
The picture shows The Doctor in period attire with Kylie Minogue's character (Astrid). The pair seem to be on board the Titanic, in a classical Doctor Who pose. The BBCi Doctor Who website also confirmed the following information about the episode:
Kylie who plays Astrid - a waitress on The Titanic - began filming in Cardiff this week for the special which will air on BBC 1 during Christmas 2007. She stars alongside David Tennant in a story that follows on directly from the ending of series three where viewers witnessed The Titanic crash through the TARDIS walls. We can also confirm that Britain's best loved sitcom actors, Geoffrey Palmer and Clive Swift will play lead roles in the Christmas episode. With Geoffrey taking the helm of the Titanic in his role as Captain.
'Voyage of the Damned' will also feature Gary O'Brien who recently appeared in the Oscar winning film 'The Queen', Debbie Chazen; star of the BBC comedy series 'The Smoking Room', Olivier Award winner Clive Rowe, Russell Tovey from the smash hit film 'The History Boys', Jimmy Vee who has previously been in Doctor Who as the Moxx of Balhoon and George Costigan who starred in 'The Long Firm' and the acclaimed film 'Rita Sue and Bob Too'. Doctor Who series four will return to our screens in Spring 2008.

Ohhh & Martha will be back before Dr Who, she is in Torchwood around mid season... |
