IT'S SUCH A PURR-FECT DAY
22 Jun 2007
www.playlouder.com
It seems tribute concerts are all the rage again with news George Galloway intends to put on a festival commemorating the 40th anniversary of Che Guevara's death. Well, if you can commemorate the life of a clotheshorse princess, I don't see why you can't celebrate the death of a Marxist terrorist.
Despite the fact there is some despute over his actual death day, Galloway is going ahead with the 8th October. Plans include a showing of The Motorcycle Diaries, discussions, speeches and a gig in the evening at the Kentish Town Forum.
Che's own son, Camilo, is said to be attending.

Has anyone else heard about this?

A Marxist terrorist? That's a new one on me. I thought he was a Bolivarian freedom fighter.
