Above sounds great. Thanks Luke. FYI, a few years ago when there was hot competition, Sky offered to install dishes & receivers on a no-contract basis, but just paying an installation charge. Though that would give you a fixed dish, i.e. only see Sky Satellites).
Dish is likely to be small, e.g. 45cm.
A dual-LNB on a disk 60-80cm dish will allow you to get both Sky & Eutelsat (with naughty european channels).
A 100cm disk will give you even more satellites.
If being really fancy, fixing dish on a motor. HOWEVER it is not easy to synchronise / point a moving dish.
See http://www.cpc.co.uk/ for satellite dishes .. Luke's mention of the LIDL price for receiver sounds great.
p.s. If you don't have a sky receiver with a sky card (e.g. via free offer above), you will NOT be able to get most sky channels which are encrypted. Note : I have seen sky receiver offered for £10 in car boot sales {Amstrad, or Panasonic} .. or on Ebay .. buyer beware. If these have an old sky card, even better since they may allow you to watch some Free-to-view (i.e. encrypted free) channels. Though if you have a sky receiver, forget about other satellites .. I think these are set up to only link to sky satellite. |

I've been asking about and I don't think it's going to happen here at all. |

Can't anyone PLEASE capture at least the audio? EvilGoblin's attempts are appreciated, but the sound is so distorted it drives you mad after a while.
We're missing a lot here. The shows are so much better than the talkSPORT shows. He stays on one subject more than 3 seconds (although still seldom more than 3 minutes), and the guests are high quality with unique viewpoints. It's turning into a good daily news commentary.
All that's really needed is the audio. It would be great to be able to listen to it like a radio show four days a week. Anyone able to get the audio in without resorting to a speaker/microphone stage like EvilGoblin's using?

I wish I could. And if I could, I would
I'm just grateful for EvilGoblin and his stoneage approach. I don't mind the bad audio so much, I just leave it playing in a seperate window and treat it as a radio show anyway. |

Let's just hope Endemol haven't delegated a production contract to Raj TV for the filming of BBBM! |

The production changed yesterday. It's a white background now. The show is getting much better content-wise. I like that he's getting guests he doesn't agree with. His Iraq correspondent looks like an Iraqi Pat Butcher. EvilGoblin's audio is better than it was too, I think he's getting the hang of it, even if the picture is still bad. |

If you haven't been following the show, get with it. The June 4 show (already posted by EvilGoblin) presents the first part of a fascinating old documentary on a 1999 London-to-Baghdad anti-sanctions trip that Galloway and others made.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yM7pZgAS54
"If you intend to stop us at the border, you better bring the U.S. Marines with you, because we won't be allowing you onto our bus."
(Maybe it's a sign of how desperate the times are becoming, but I'm amazed at how 1999 is starting to look almost as innocent and romantic as the Summer of Love.) |

The show will be available on http://www.sumo.tv/georgegalloway
It has a recent episode there now. Should be many more in future. |

cheers for that Mandy, but is that the official release? I can't be arsed with watching multiple-clips, but I'll give it a go. |
