Carly ends up in Sean's arms after he saves her from being raped!

She has a date with a dangerous newcomer, Warren, but it goes horribly wrong when he forces himself on her. Luckily, Sean frightens him away.

“Carly is really grateful to Sean,” says Kellie Shirley, who plays her.

“She used to think that he was an arrogant idiot, but there is a real sexual chemistry between them.”

Carly’s week starts badly when she hears from her estranged husband Nico that he is filing for divorce.

“It opens a wound,” explains Kellie. “It brings back the past and she realises he is never going to come back to her. It’s also a shock to the system after not hearing from him for a while.”

Meanwhile, Preeti goes out with a new beauty rep, Warren, who is played by former Hollyoaks star Will Mellor. However, the date is a disaster and he tries to move on to Chelsea, with no luck. But he does get a date with Carly.

Chelsea sets them up because she has noticed her flirting with Sean and wants to put a stop to it.

“Carly is not particularly fussed about Warren,” reveals Kellie. “She agrees to go out with him, but only because Chelsea is being nice to her for once.

“She wants to have a bit of fun and she is still feeling quite down over the whole divorce thing with Nico.

“The date starts off okay. They go out for dinner and back at The Vic she’s quite drunk, so she doesn’t notice Warren spiking her drink. But, luckily, her mum knocks it over, thinking she has already had too much.

“Back at Pat’s, Warren’s sinister side comes out and he tries to force himself onto her. Carly gets angry and tries to push him away.”

Meanwhile, Preeti is absolutely horrified to find out about Carly‘s date with Warren. She shows Chelsea a massive bruise from her night out with him.

They rush to try to save Carly, but Sean beats them to it and scares Warren away.

“At first, Carly is just really angry,” says Kellie. “It’s only when she calms down that she appreciates Sean turning up. Who knows what could have happened?”

Afterwards, back in The Vic, Carly angrily accuses Chelsea of deliberately setting her up with a psycho and the two women lash out at each other.

Later, Carly meets Sean in the alleyway and tells him that he needs to sort his girlfriend out. They lock eyes and move in for a kiss.

“The more she gets to know Sean, the more intrigued she becomes,” adds Kellie.

LET'S call it the Naomi Campbell syndrome. For while Chelsea Fox may be conceited enough to believe she’s the sexiest girl in Walford, her good looks hide an ugly temper.

‘C’mon, Chelz,’ serial cheat Sean smugly tells her on his unexpected return on Monday. ‘We both know you’re the only girl round ’ere fit enough for me.’

Yet that doesn’t stop him flirting with Carly and inadvertently triggering Chelsea into seeking her revenge. And, come Thursday, that’s why Carly finds herself being attacked by a reptile sales rep called Warren, played by former Hollyoaks actor Will Mellor.

Chelsea and Carly may live in the same house because parents Denise and Kevin are now married, but as far as Chelsea’s concerned, ‘sisterhood’ is just something nuns talk about.

Or, as Carly puts it furiously: ‘You are one twisted-up sick bitch.’

Because when Preeti goes on a disastrous date with Warren, it gives Chelz an idea. On the pretext of cheering up Carly who’s upset because her estranged husband is filing for divorce, she sets her up with the bad lad – little realising that he’s a sexual predator with just one thing on his dirty mind. But when Warren wines and dines her, and then spikes her drink, unlikely knight in shining armour Sean comes to the rescue of this damsel in distress.

‘Well, you needed a fella,’ Chelsea yells defiantly when the two girls slap each other about later. ‘An’ I fort you might want one of yer own for a change… As if Sean would even be interested in you. You ain’t even D-list.’

Now that’s something else the deluded girl has obviously got wrong…

Earplugs at the ready – shouty man and wife Kevin and Denise are back from honeymoon on Monday, and poor Libby and Darren are soon deafened by their bellowing. Finding out Libby was arrested doesn’t please Denise, nor that she’s going out with Diddy. ‘ I wasn’t born yesterday, Darren,’ she tells him. ‘I know what’s on 16-year-old boys’ minds. An’ it ain’t simple equations.’ Wow. Amazing she can remember that far back…
