Pretty mad stuff - but you can see how much frustration he felt. If he had to go that "extreme" to have his point heard then I'm guessing the person he was shouting at is just as much a victim of brain-washing as anyone.
The microphone was focused on the reporter, but you can still hear the other person talking. Reading the article, I could easily imagine a reporter or comedian who is heckled snapping [recall the guy from Kramer who "blew it" a few months ago on stage].
Glad George knows how to handle such people [though easier when you have your hand on the mute button]
