interesting chat between chavez and castro, compare this with the 'yo blair', spin and soundbites of our democracy in action
Fidel Castro phoned into Hugo Chavez's daily Q&A radio show "Alo Presidente" on 27th Feb discussing environmental issues, wind farms,world hunger,the share crash,Bush visiting South America and even Einstein. Can we ever imagine Blair discussing these issues with the same motivation putting people before profit? Would Blair even bring himself to talk with either of these two humanitarians?

that was a good read, cheers for that. You're right though - the idea of Blair and Bush talking in such a way is so far from their reality that it would be like asking a pack of hyenas to discuss helping the gazelles.
Here's the link to listen to the official radio station, in Spanish of course. I'm not sure if this is the same stream that Chavez uses though.
