A cute news story was today being blamed for the deaths of 12 people after they were fooled by its cuteness and ended up reading "truth" instead. The story exploded in their faces at around 8:23 this morning and relatives are still being informed. Police say that these stories are a growing threat to society as people are "simply not capable" of absorbing such information and have warned people not to read anything more substantial than "TV Times" until the perpetrators of this evil are brought to book.
