| I watched a Jane Goodall documentary all about how there was a large group of chimps which had two dominant males. Over time they split the larger group into two subsections; one being pastoral and relaxed, while the other was ready to shag anything, including their babies. If it's ever repeated I'll try to cap it. |

That's one definition, but the ones I saw were members of the same species. It was a cultural difference within the same general group. |
