A blind motorist who embarked on a half-mile car journey has avoided a prison sentence - despite turning up at court in an obscene T-shirt.
Omed Aziz was ordered to change out of his top - which bore the slogan "B4D MO7H3R FU5K3R" - after magistrates in Oldbury, in West Midlands, deemed it offensive.
He returned to court in a plain blue T-Shirt to hear his fate - a three-month suspended prison sentence and a three-year driving ban - before changing back into his original attire to leave court smirking.
The 31-year-old, whose eyes were blown out by a bomb blast in Iraq, was convicted of dangerous driving last week. It emerged at his trial that he reached speeds of up to 35mph in a built-up area.
Bizarrely, the magistrates were required by law to order Aziz to take an extended driving test if he ever decides to apply for a driving licence.
The Iraqi, who receives ?520-a-month in incapacity benefit, was also ordered to pay ?364 in prosecution costs.
He was convicted of dangerous driving after JPs heard how a police patrol arrested him at the wheel of a Peugeot 405 in Oldbury late on April 23 this year.
The defendant, who has just three fingers on his right hand, had pleaded guilty at a previous hearing to driving with no MOT, no licence and no insurance.
He also suffers from leg tremors and is partially deaf, facts he freely admitted to police after being arrested.

Am I missing something here? A BLIND person driving?
'the magistrates were required by law to order Aziz to take an extended driving test if he ever decides to apply for a driving licence.'
I was looking for some clips of people driving blind (there was a good clip of a guy on Top Gear doing it with a co-driver (not doing-it you dirty bugger!)) but could only really find this...
I think this driver must be blind not to have seen the carnage they caused!
