does anyone know of any software that i can use to control someone else's pc? so that i can move their mouse around etc?
i'm doing a site for a client, and i'm setting up email in all their shops, but they're useless, and getting all sorts of error messages. i'd like to be able to control their pc, set up the email and see any error messages on my screen?
i know the email is working as i have it set up here
this will save me having to trek around devon to deal with plebs that can't setup email!
ps - i don't want to have to pay for this software! |

There are a few other options:
GoToMyPC
Tight VNC
Ultra VNC
I've used Tight VNC in the past to fix PC's for family members.
All options require host configuration. eg. if behind a firewall, opening the appropriate port; installing software on host system. The benefit of this approach is that the PC(s) you want to connect to don't have to expose their remote desktop ports to the world. |
