How to make and upload a torrent using Azureus
Author: faceless :: Posted: Fri Jun 09, 2006 2:35 pm
Ok, after a few people have asked, and to pre-empt future questions, here's a basic guide to making a torrent using Azureus.

When you have the program loaded you should press "CTRL-N" and you will then see this box appear...

Arrow 1 is the "announce" url which is necessary for the torrent program to know where to look for info. You need to enter that address as it is shown... you can copy and paste that address from here
Code:
http://www.couchtripper.com/t4//announce.php

Arrow 2 indicates the point where you can choose to make a torrent from a single file (it's set as that from the start) or if you want to make a torrent from a directory.

-------------------

Once you're set on what you're doing, click "next" and you'll see this.

The arrow indicates where you click to find the file or dir that you're working on. Find the file or directory, then click on "next"

---------------

Now you'll see this page and you should...

Speed Cameras under attack!!!!

I'd guess that speeding drivers kill more people each year than paedophiles and heroin combined, but it still seems socially acceptable to do it.

What to upload for better ratios?
Author: faceless :: Posted: Fri Jun 09, 2006 12:20 pm
I'm mostly into collecting comedy myself, but ebooks, audio books, radio shows or anything really. Stuff from Comedy Central would do me - the only things I ever see from it are Daily Show and Colbert Report.

Rabid - ebooks are definitely something I'd take for sure and I'm sure a few others would too.

When the ratio warning system comes into operation at the 10th day after people have signed up there's going to be quite a few people who will want to post something to keep access, so here's hoping it all works out well for everyone.

Clinton slams Coulter

That woman seriously makes me sick. And personally I wouldn't mind if she had her tongue cut out. She aloud to say what she thinks so why can't the "liberal media" say what they want to say.

I personally have no idea about this "liberal media" that keeps getting talked about. Most of our news reporters never ask hard hitting questions, and when they do they allow the people to spin and never really push. Not to mention the newspapers sitting on the whole phone tapping incidents for a year because the White House asked them to. "Liberal Media", please.
