Paranormal Phenomena

When I was a teen, I guess you could say that I was into the occult. Not the Black Arts or anything like that but I really read into this stuff. Well, the room I had since childhood was also the room my Grandfather died in.
One night, with a black candle on my left and a white on my right, I started to play with the Ouija Board, asking if there was anyone that would like to speak with me. 4-5 minutes passed with nothing happening. I was ready to give up my efforts when I could litterally feel something enter the room. This sensation started at my toes and felt like it was feeling to fill my body from down to up. I could feel my upper chest swell then as soon as it came, it left. I was so freaked that I blew out the candles, threw the Ouija Board under the bed and took off running for the downstairs !!!! I sat in the recliner all night long with my eyes glued on the steps just waiting for something. I didn't touch a Ouija Board for years after that !!!

Mother, 12, arrested on night out

A 12-year-old girl who last month became Scotland's youngest mother has been arrested after a night out. The girl, from West Lothian, who has not been named, was detained on Sunday 16 July following a drunken incident.

Lothian and Borders Police said the girl was arrested for a breach of the peace. A report will be send to the Reporter to the Children's Panel.

Both the girl and the child have recently been placed into foster care. The authorities were called in following reports that the girl smoked up to 20 cigarettes a day and started drinking at the age of 10.

It seems unjust that when all (three or four) of us have taken the trouble to watch Love Island, we have to live in fear that it could be dropped any second. Admittedly, viewing figures are so poor it has been scheduled round the news, as if an update on the situation in Lebanon could somehow inspire people to stay tuned for Bombhead from Hollyoaks running around in his Early Learning swimming trunks trying to impress Paul Gascoigne's daughter.

Already Love Island has been forced (by the Trade Descriptions Act?) to drop its 'Celebrity' prefix, because its protagonists are so far down the fame alphabet that one of them (the bizarrely plasticised Alicia Douvall) couldn't even say the real one. Moreover, with the inordinate amount of rehab-speak, it's often about as sexy as laundry day at the Priory. However, all this may serve to underline the true appeal of Love Island. It is not about a base desire to watch people having sex; it's about a base desire to watch people fail pathetically to have...

Face - thanks a million. I don't know what I'd do without you - had to download quite a few things to get somewhere near what I had before. Just about got most things back now and am going to try downloading the programmes I've missed since not having the computer. Thanks xx

Mussels Josephine

Last Sunday we went to a The Bonefishgrill restaurant, for starters this was one of the dishes, we praised the chef and requested the recipe, however he would/could only give us the ingredients. Unwilling to settle for that I managed to find some of the recipe on line, last night I made this and while it was not exact it was still rather tasty, the following recipe I have adjusted and it should taste better than my first attempt. Bon Appetit :star:

2lbs. Prince Edward or similar small Mussels
6 oz. chopped onion
4 oz. chopped garlic
6oz. diced tomatoes
large handful fresh chopped basil
3 oz. sambuca
1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 cup fresh chopped parsley

earlier in the day or day before allow 1 stick of butter to get soft, then blend with juice of 1 large lemon, roll up in plastic wrap and refrigerate.

coat a hot skillet with approx. 4 tbs butter and melt
add the mussels to the skillet and cover, it will take appox. 2 minutes to cook, check to ensure that they are open.
next add the onions, garlic, tomatoes and basil cook approx. 1 min.
