It is free for Yanks too. When we went to see Borussia Dortmund v Berlin in Dortmund, the train ticket was part of the normal price of the game ticket. Now, we had to pay for the train from Cologne to Dortmund, but the street train in Dortmund was free where ever we wanted to go.
