Well, he's gone. Regardless if you liked the plot surrounding it or not. I miss him. He was one of those characters I had really grown to love. I also had a good laugh with his funeral, typical Kevin |

His dying scene really had me feeling depressed. When he had that thing sticking in his gut and he was saying he was scared, I was thinking Jesus! That is scary! You know you are done for when you see that thing sticking in you! I thought it was done well, but of course it's another sad thing to happen to another character on EE. :-( |

I thought it was well done myself and I also found it scary and sad. I cried when Pat gave Carly the locket as too. |

I have never cried watching an EastEnders episode. Until Kevin's funeral. I don't want to give too much away for those who aren't caught up yet, but when Pat gave Carly the very meaningful little going away gift and they embraced to say good bye, I wept. But just for a second because, after all, it's only TV. |

EX-EastEnder Phil Daniels has blasted writers for piling on the agony in Albert Square. The actor left the BBC 1 soap over the New Year. His character Kevin Wicks was killed in a car crash. Now Phil has hit out at the doom and gloom in Walford that made him decide to quit.
He said: “I thought two years would be a good amount of time and by the end of that, I’d kind of had enough. I’d fallen into that mire that always happens on EastEnders. The wit had gone, all they were writing was bad stuff and I wasn’t interested in carrying on in that way. I wanted to keep it light and witty.” Daniels, 49, added: “They killed me off and it was gruesome. But it’s all about getting viewing figures.”

I must admit that there were a couple of sniffles while I was watching, but it's not the first episode that caused those. Nana Moon's last episodes (when she died and when she went to Normandy) were real tear jerkers... |

Not now Nana!
I'm with you Spurs, those last episodes with her had me crying. |
