Why is BBC leading with an anti-immigration story today :

http://news.bbc.co.uk/

The huge title "Migration 'causes pressure in UK' is so vague as to be meaningless. Everything causes "pressures" of some sort. Deciding to cross a street at a Pelkin crossing causes pressure on the road system.

BBC reports "The findings are contained in a report drawn up to advise ministers on the social impact of immigration."

But only yesterday "ministers published a review of immigration research showing "clear benefits" to the British economy" .. but that didn't get much highlighting, and it is mentioned in paragraph 3 of today's report. Why were the two reports "broken up" and not released together ? Was it so the first "good" report would buried and the second alarmist report is highlighted?

This must be being driving by Gordon Brown. Is this how he intends to regain his support from ex (and current) Tory & BNP supporters, by pandering even more to the right ?

This new Labour government should be sued for false description of having Labour in it's name, without "anti-" before it.

UPDATE : The BBC lead has switched to "Obesity 'not individuals' fault' : Individuals are not to blame for the obesity crisis and the government must act, a major report concludes. "

Maybe that's the second leg of Gordon's come-back campaign.
