I've not been as good today and yesterday. Thanks to easter candy. But I figured that's okay. As long as I don't start it up again. I had two creme eggs last night and I did have one this morning. It didn't seem right not having a bit of easter candy in the morning at easter.

Overall though I've been good. Just have to make sure I keep away from the stuff now Laughing

Yeah, I have had a little too. But back on the wagon tomorrow. Thankfully, all of the candy goes home with Marcella!! I have made the appointment for my new ink and faxed him the artwork. I go on March 30! Can't wait!!

I can't wait to see it either Spurs! You will have to post a pic of it when it's done.

That is such good news Spurs. I am so proud of you. As I have been working on losing my weight I've been thinking of a lot of the things you have said and that, well, 'spurs' me on!

I've lost another 6 pounds so a total of 22 so far.

Took my measurements today and from Feb 23 I have lost:
3 inches off my waist
4 inches off my hips
.5 inches off my arm
2 inches off my bust
2.5 inches off my thighs
.5 inches off my calf
And lost 8 pounds (for a total of 23 pounds lost to date)

Very happy about this. Still working at it and going strong. Although I was a bit surprised I only lost a half inch on my calf. They look a lot smaller to me.

that's a fair amount for sure - well done. When I lost weight in my 20s my calfs stayed pretty much the same which I guessed was because the muscle had built-up from carrying around the extra weight.

It's great for cycling...

Thanks so much.

See, my calfs feel a lot more muscular as well but don't seem to have changed, but they look like they have. Which is why I found it odd. Of course, I am not up on fat distribution around calfs!

OK, I see this thread has been idle a while, let's get it going again. Bay was doign really well this spring, and I kinda got off track...what helps me more than anythign is to keep my body moving, and I confess, for the last month I'vepretty well parked it in front of the computer.

I've got 3 horses that need to be ridden and a garden to take care of. If I did those things, it wouldnt' take long to shape up again!

so somebody , crack the whip at me!

oooooo, well, my feeble attempt at exercise tonight wasn't a very bright idea....

I have a horse who has been lame, gave him some time off, thought I'd hop on for a few minutes tonight and see how he's doing.

Now mind you I ALWAYS ride with a brain bucket on (safety helmet)

but tonight, I just hopped on bareback, no bridle, just a lead rope for steering...This is a 21 YO been there done that horse, what could go wrong??????

well, the neighbor's angus bull came sauntering up the fence line bellering like a wounded bear. You coudl barely see the animal as the grass is so high.

Star got one glimpse of that and said, "im outta here, bye" spin

bay goes flying off, rope burned my left hand, landed on my tail bone and smacke dmy head on the hard ground!

Laid there for a min hearing the tweetie birds like in the cartoons. pulled myself up and hobbled back to the house. I'm getting to old to be a lawn dart. I don't bounce well

Sky pointed out to me that I never updated you guys when I got my new tat. Well I did...end of April - beginning of May sometime. I hit 50lb mark, finally, so new ink was had. Queen Elizabeth I's signature on the inside of my right wrist. I LOVE it! My weight loss journey has been rocky since...I am at 53lbs. I have to kick start my exercise routine. My trainer wants me to start jogging, so once this house renovation stuff is done, I will start doing just that. Just an update...

Bay - sounds like you had quite an evening!! Hope you don't have any lasting effects...course if it were me, a head injury wouldn't make any diff!!! Laughing
