She may well have fancied him. When they would kiss when they were drunk I looked it more as them having a laugh and nothing else better to do, than fancying each other.

Yes you did spot that. I do think Pete does care for Nikki now I've seen his reaction both in the house and the diary room since she left. He didn't go in there for a love connection though but he did love cuddling her.

I loved how he called her a bit of fluff and now the house isn't fluffy since she left. Bless.... Surprised

The best friends task will end with heartbreak on Friday as one pair is evicted from the house.

Later today the housemates will be called to the diary room to nominate in their pairs.

As usual, the two or more housemates with the most votes will face the public vote but - unbeknownst to the group - the nominees will actually face the public vote with their best friend.

One pair of best friends will then leave the house in a surprise double eviction on Friday.

In a further, post-eviction twist, some of the remaining housemates will be locked up in Big Brother's secret prison.

In the prison - located next door - the inmates will be required to carry out frustrating and laborious tasks each day under supervision from the other housemates, who will become officers.

The prisoners will only be allowed back into the Big Brother house twice a day for a 'walk around', be fed three basic meals a day and must wear their prison uniform at all times.

Could you clarify how this is going to work? They will both go in the diary room and know each other's nominations? Will they be told to vote a pair or vote on individuals? I'm a little confused on how it's really going to work.

That's odd, I'm not sure if I like that idea and if it will work. BB certainly needs some life kicked into it, it's really boring at the moment, so maybe this will help.

I think they nominated in pairs but had to decided together on one housemate to nominate together.

What they don't know is that the person whom they nominate wil automatically put that persons partner up.

Three duos face Big Brother vote

Three pairs of Big Brother hopefuls face eviction on Friday after being nominated for the public vote. Imogen Thomas and Susie Verrico, Pete Bennett and Richard Newman, plus Michael Cheshire and Spiral gained the most votes from their fellow inmates.

Each housemate cast two votes as usual, but the "best friends" of the three people with the most nominations are automatically up for eviction as well. Some housemates expressed dismay at the twist, claiming that Big Brother had tricked them into nominating their friends.

Glyn Wise and Mikey Dalton, who both nominated Susie, said they were unhappy that Imogen could be evicted as a result. Imogen said: "It's the toughest this week. I don't mind but I am gutted. I wanted to go normally. Not like this."

Glyn added that Pete's popularity could see Richard - who has received the most nominations in the series so far - spared eviction. Viewers of the Channel 4 series will be asked to vote for the pair they wish to save from being ejected.

It has to be Imogen and Susie really... roll on Imogen's press-conference where her face blackens and her eyes screw up as she hears about the porn video!

EXCLUSIVE: BIG BROTHER'S JAIL HOUSE
By Nicola Methven, Tv Editor

THIS is the jail where half the 10 remaining housemates will be banged up today, but their time behind bars may be brief - as the lucky lags will be given the chance to escape, thanks to a map hidden in a cake. Meanwhile the others, now prison "officers", will enjoy a luxury budget as the jailbirds scoff dull grub in their dingy dungeon.

Two inmates will share a bunk and the rest have single beds. They will be kept in by bars, wear uniforms and be fingerprinted. The nasty nick has the most basic furniture designed to make the contestants frustrated and claustrophobic. A source said: "Expect to see some angry people."

The insider added: "The group will be blissfully unaware of what is in store as they decide on roles. The map will give someone a chance to escape, if they can work it. It will show them a secret passage. However, it won't necessarily lead them into the main house."

Rewards for Big Brother 'prisoners'

The Big Brother "prisoners" have been enjoying the fruits of their escape to a mini-paradise, while their guards remain unaware of the latest Big Brother twist.

The coupled-up housemates were told to split into prisoners and prison warders for their new task, but Big Brother gave those behind bars a map for an escape route and a spoon to tunnel their way out.

Aisleyne, Glyn, Imogen, Pete and Spiral opted to go behind bars, and turned out to be the lucky ones as they discovered a Roman spa with roll-top baths, a chocolate fountain and a fully stocked bar.

The only catch is that they must ensure the prison guards - fellow housemates Jennie, Mikey, Susie, Richard and Michael - don't find out about the idyllic hideaway.

If they are successful, they will win messages from home and a luxury budget for the group.

Aisleyne and Spiral volunteered to keep watch for the lights in the cell which will tell them when the others are watching them on CCTV.

Meanwhile, Pete tucked into a meringue and marvelled: "I didn't know food like this existed. I've never seen anything like this in my life."

Big Brother also laid on a garden retreat, with sand, surfboards and cocktails - but the housemates will have to keep the noise down as it is right next to the main garden.

And Welsh head boy Glyn had a novel suggestion of how to keep the escape secret.

"Take your clothes off now," he said, "cos if we get sand on them they'll see".

The jailbirds just found what looks like an icecream shop with all kinds of goodies there to munch on and now they just showed platefulls of pizza and a fridge full of beer lol. Pete is emptying the fridge out and calling the others back from the icecream shop to come in.

It's funny because the jail guards are thinking they're having a hard time of it, but little do they know they're getting the best treatment with the best food and pints of beer and fully stocked spa Razz It's started to get a bit fun again ....finally!
