Don't Call Me Stupid
July 16, 2007

WANT to see Celebrity Big Brother fave Chantelle get her brain round the finer points of the British political system? Or how about watching George Galloway try to ride a horse? These are just two of the treats in store on Don’t Call Me Stupid, an ITV1 show where a pair of celebs try to learn each other's skills.

Of course, the stars have been paired with people whose interests and hobbies are wildly different. But they’ll have to help each other in the unfamiliar tasks. George Galloway will be taught horse riding by Lady Victoria Hervey, who in turn will have to bone up on the finer points of the Labour movement. And Ed Vaizey MP is the lucky man charged with explaining the British political system to Chantelle. In exchange, she’ll fill him in on dog care. Comedian Alexander Armstong hosts the series, which starts this autumn.

The pairs are:

George Galloway (horse riding) and Lady Victoria Hervey (history of the Labour movement)
Germaine Greer (car mechanics) and Shayne Lynch (wild flowers of Essex)
Francis Fulford (Geordie culture) and Michelle Heaton (The Battle of Hastings)
Vanessa Feltz (fishing) and Bobby George (Chaucer’s Tales)
James Whitaker (Manchester music scene) and Bez (Royal etiquette)
Chantelle (British political system) and Ed Vaizey MP (dogs and dog care)
Brian Sewell (cricket) and Phil Tufnell (16 - 17th Century art)
Michael Howard MP (West End musicals) and Wayne Sleep (Liverpool FC)
